Dining in the British Virgin Islands is one of the experiences that the different islands and their people pride themselves in, with diverse atmospheres, from upscale dining at resorts, tropical settings in open-air restaurants, to small local on the beach establishments.
All types of menus are offered throughout the BVI, with many of the dishes prepared by graduates of our own Lavity Stoutt College, part of the Culinary Institute of New England. Some of our islands, such as Anegada, pride themselves of their fresh caught, lobster dinners, prepared several different ways to please any palate!
If vegetarian food is your thing, you will not be left out, being offered fresh vegetable dishes at most restaurants and delicatessens.
Tortola, being the capital of the British Virgin Islands, has a plethora of fine restaurants from one end of the island to the other, offering everything from Thai cuisine to steak houses, and everything in between. Jost Van Dyke also has several restaurants that are excellent.
