Live Band, Beach BBQ, games, volleyball, etc. What better place to sail and enjoy the events scheduled ashore than the number one beach in the BVI's, Smugglers Cove!

Entry fee payment: Payable (sorry no credit cards) at Smugglers Cove Beach Bar between 8am and 9am, May 13, 2006. The around the buoys courses and race instructions will be announced and handed out to all competitors at the mandatory Skippers meeting, 9 am, May 13, 2006 at Smugglers Cove Beach Bar. Warning signal for the first starting class will be at 10:25 am.
As many races as time permits will be held. Start time for last race will be no later than 1:30 pm.
Sand screws with mooring lines will be set off the beach, for all IC 24's and dinghy's to use the morning of the Regatta till the days end.
The cut into Smugglers Cove will be clearly marked by red and green buoys for ease of navigating into and out of the mooring area. Access to boats from the beach will be made easy. Windsurfers will use the shore to launch their boards. It is required that all dinghy's, (except car top loaded) launch at the KATS sailing center beach and have their yacht club or organization that they are a member of, tow the boats to Smugglers Cove. No Trailers are to be brought to Smugglers Cove due to parking area concerns, and road conditions. Please car pool if possible to the Regatta site.
IC 24's may come to Sopers Hole as soon as a week prior to the regatta, and can be kept on the KATS Sailing mooring balls in front of the Sailing center, prior to being towed to Smugglers Cove the morning of the Regatta. Please leave a message at 495-4646 to confirm drop off date and time with boat name.
Every competitor must complete the waiver/consent form. Parent/Guardian signature is required for juniors under the age of 18. Download form here.
