Food in Anegada Posted: 22 Aug 2006 08:15 PM |
| Last yr we sailed to Anegada for the first time. We enjoyed the island but were very disappointed with the dinner at Anegada Reef Hotel. Can anyone give me advise on other restaurants that might be better. i.e. Neptune's Treasure of Pomato Pt Restaurant? I would appreciate the help. |

Hi Ramoroso
Definitely try Loblolly Beach on the north shore. Good food, nice people, and a great beach! Just grab a cab if you don't have a rental car as it's quite a hike from the anchorage. Did you try Neptunes Treasure close to the anchorage? Hope this helps. When are you coming to the BVI's?

| Yes I've eaten at Neptunes Treasure but only for breakfast. I do know that the Soars family that owns the restuarant, are long time fishermen and supply many restuarants with all types of fresh fish on Anegada and through out the BVI's. I forgot to mention that the restuarant in Loblolly Beach is the Big Bamboo. Hope this all helps! |
